Shrubs for northern hummers. (1 Viewer)

I've learned quite a bit about the many flowers, both perennials and annuals for those of us living in the upper Midwest here in the US. I live in a zone 5 for the most part. I'd like to plant a few flowering shrubs that attract hummingbirds and was wanting to ask if anyone here has suggestions? Weigela and Rose Of Sharon come to mind, but whether they actually develop enough nectar to attract hummers or not, I have no idea.

Two flowering vines that would flower consecutively....
First would be early flowering clematis spp...
Coming off in April through May

Then...Trumpet creeper...Campsis Sp, coming off in late June, throughout the summer and into fall.

Both can handle zone 4 through 11
