I still use old skool stuff like Knot, Wheatear etc because it obviously refers to the commonly found species in this country - if it is anything other then it is referred to accordingly - at the end of the day when in another country where confusion or language barrier an issue then there is always the Latin nomenclature. Personally i find articles or nit-picking adding Northern this or European that just more clutter and unwanted signage but each to their own as they say...
