There are 3 could be 4 short eared owls that seem to be living in the fields behind Whitley Bay caravan park, they hunt those fields and the nature reserve.

Been showing very well for the past 2 weeks, park in the first section of the lighthouse carpark and use the patch that runs between the back of the caravans and the nature reserve.
 
Sorry for my much delayed reply, yes the wetland and field behind the caravans, we had five there but sadly with this rain there is now maybe 2, 3 have been found dead :( one was sen yesterday and one could have moved ion inland been one seen in Ashington last couple of days.

was showing well yesterday few lads got shots with vole in mouth, Saturday looks like it should be a bright day, you will know where to go as will be loads down there.
