Hi,
I am a young, fit, friendly 48 year-old Brit going on a birding trip to S.E. Arizona May 13th-22nd 2016. Will be based in Tucson. I would love to join up with other birders for some trips further afield, e.g. Madera Canyon etc.. It's often more fun with others and more green to share petrol / car. Yes. I've tried birdingpal but as yet no responses. Maybe because it is such a hotspot!

If anyone is interested please contact me!

B.t.w.. the option of paid guide is a bit too expensive for me - I am pretty experienced (35 years) to pick up most species identification-wise....

Anyone out there?
Cheers,
Matt

Matt you really don't need a guide if you get familiar with ebird - SE AZ is well reported on ebird. I'll start you off with a link. You can change various parameters.

There is also a hotspot feature on ebird which I find handy

also listserve is worth a look (select AZ and NM)

Gas and car hire in the US is typically very inexpensive.

You can also try birdingpal.
