Found this in my bagged salad (I know I shouldn't). I thought it would be easy to identify because of the heart-shaped leaves and the red stem, but I failed to find it on my plants book and on two different apps, PlantSnap and PlanNet (in my experience both are pretty useless).

Can anyone help?

It isn't watercress? Or a similar weed that's managed to jump in?

I thought about watercress, but the shape of the leaves is different?

I'm slightly disappointed. Given the thread title I was hoping for a crawly thing with legs (but then it would be in the wrong forum).

Googling 'watercress' images does come up with some similar variations in leaf shape.

I think it's within the variation of Watercress.
