Mass stranding in Tasmania (1 Viewer)

Something like 500 animals now, most of which have died, they found a separate stranding of 200 some 10 km away in Macquarie Harbour. Causes of the stranding unknown, this event is a distressing feature of the news each at the moment.

Wonder if there's anything more permanent they could install to stop these strandings? Some sort of sonar warning system broadcasting "Warning, shallow beach ahead" in whale-ese? Even perhaps just echo reflectors to make it sound like "solid ahead"?
