The Lesvos Wildlife Hospital have an online newsletter for January including the birds they've been caring for recently, including a Great Bittern which was found weakened but they managed to release back on to the island. Other birds include MArsh Harrier and Water Rail. More here.
 
Thanks for this Steve, it seems as though things are starting to creep into this beautiful island, hope it doesn't get too alarming.
