Another mystery Gull in Cyprus (1 Viewer)

Hello friends,

this Gull was among a mixed flock of about 30 Yellow-Legged and Armenian Gulls, with 6 Slender-billed Gulls at close distance, at Larnaca, Cyprus before 3 days.

I notice its rather large size, rather short legs, bright eyes and thinnish bill. Also the orbital ring is orange.
Unfortunately I didnt manage to get any photos from the side or in flight.
It doesn't seem good for cachinnans.

What do you think ?

hi filippos,

it's just a YLG in bad condition. bill shape and striation concentrated around eye are wrong for caspian. dull leg and bill colour, dark mark to bill and orangey oribital are signs of weakness/illness or with some metabolistic problems. and: an all white p10 tip is found in quite some adult YLGs!
