(Fresh?) Dragonfly for ID - Romania (1 Viewer)

I found this dragonfly on July 10th, on the bank of the Danube, in the south-eastern part of Romania. Please help me to ID it.

It looks like a gomphus species. I would guess at Gomphus flavipes because the metapleural stripe (see Dijkstra or Askew) appears to not be forked but that may be an illusion as it is teneral and I've never seen one (teneral or otherwise) so have no field experience. Need a second opinion at least!
