Newbie birder from Thailand
I'm new to birding, and I wish to go on my first birding trip this upcoming April. My parents are not so supportive of bird-watching, so perhaps I would be going with a couple of friends. Can anybody suggest some places which might be the best place to start? I've heard Khao Yai national park is a great place to start!
About how much do these trips cost? I've checked www.thailandbirding.com and a couple of websites, but the prices do not show. Are we allowed to rent binoculars before purchasing our own?

Did you check the 'Bird Conservation Society of Thailand'? Maybe they can give you some advice as a beginner.
