Back From Vacation - Birds in my photos?

A loon and a baby and an eagle in a tree. I found this forum yesterday. I'm now trying to take a picture of the hummingbird on my back porch. What's happening to me?

Hi ArtMachine,

A warm welcome to BirdForum from all the Admin and Moderators.

What's happening? You've caught the bird bug. It's incurable but the effects are almost entirely pleasurable. Please share your experiences with the rest of us addicts.

I guess I'm not off to a very good start. I saw the August photo competition notice and thought, "I've got a nice photo that would qualify". However, it seems all the rules were not met. I was not a member as of August 1st and I didn't get my entry in by 12pm GMT.

GMT? Really!

It's still a nice photo.

Remember, I'm new. Cut me some slack if you want to see those loon and eagle pictures.

I'm sure you'll enjoy entering future competitions.
