Is this a Catalan Wall Lizard?

Seen last week at the Rec above Gruissan near Narbonne, this lizard had me pondering due to the large lateral pale strip.

There doesn't appear to be a picture of this type, but the text mentions this can be a feature of CWL. The relatively long snout seems to fit - maybe.

Still trying to get to grips with the variability of these small lizards. Does anyone have experience to say one way or another?

Sorry, not a Wall Lizard (Podarcis sp.) at all. This is a Large Psammodromus (Psammodromus algirus): look at the triangular, sharp and keeled scales. The rusty colour is a good indication at a distance.

Thanks Rafael, keep on overlooking Psammodromus and now you point it out the keeled scales are obvious.

Many thanks for your assistance
