Birds of Italy (1 Viewer)

Hello,

Last summer I traveled to Rome, Capri, Sicily, Montenegro, Croatia, Venice and Lecce, (Puglia) Italy and was more than a little frustrated trying to see birds. So, when I returned, I began looking at web sites to see what I had missed. More frustrating. Still, I enjoyed the virtual birding and was directed to this site after searching for woodpeckers in Puglia as I thought I heard one at the bus stop at the Port at Otronto in the large cottonwood grove. But, probably not.

Where I live I participate in breeding bird surveys, Christmas bird counts and birding trips with the local Audubon Society and everywhere I travel. So, I look forward to seeing other's posting and learning more.
