Idaho USA 11.7.18
it looks like a Wren, the patch hints Marsh
But no eye strip that should(?) be , even in a Juvenile
What do you think?

I don't know what you mean by the patch. Do you mean the dark area caused by the displaced feathers on the righthand side of the bird above the tail?

the dark patch at tail base are fluffed feathers.
