coronavirus effect on wildlife tourism and conservation

I think that virus lockdown can be a threat to wildlife in one more way. If international travel is banned, then protected areas which depend on ecotourism will suffer.

National parks in East Africa, for example, exist only because of foreign tourists. If international travel is banned for a year, then mountain gorillas of Virungas or lions of Serengeti will be poached. The same goes for countless other reserves worldwide.

Are there any plans to deal with it?
