Hello to all members,
I have just picked upon a late post regarding the Lesser Grey Shrike that was not just spotted, but found and watched closely for a whole day by my brother at first, and then watched by both my brother and myself.
The sighting was on farmland of which a farming friend owns so we could watch the bird at close quarters without any disturbance.
My brother did contact the certain avenue for interest purposes but for some unknown reason it wasn't accepted.
The farmer who's land it was upon wouldn't have granted permission to a larger following but was more than happy to let both my brother and myself watch the bird for many a hour. The bird remained in the locality for a whole day then moved on to other locations unknown to ourselves.
I just thought I'd post the message to clarify the integrity of the not just sightings, but to watch the bird often in close proximity to ourselves for a whole day.
Apologies for the late reply, but Just stumbled upon the previous post by James.Hope this can be of much interest to our members.
