Any Recommended Digital Camera Binoculars? (1 Viewer)

Anyone have any experience with a pair of digital camera binoculars? If so please tell if it was a good experience as well as a bad one. I am looking to get a pair and need recommendations please. Thanks!

I haven't personally tried one, but people I know and trust have tried several different models and the consensus was that they were unacceptable both as camera and as binoculars.

The current Sony ones are the only ones that I have heard any positive reviews of. But they are expensive.

Apart from the Sony DEV-50, which is a combo digital binocular, video and photo camera device, selling for $2000, there is only junk.
The usual scam is to add a small fixed focus digital camera to a cheap binocular. If the view through the binocs does not give you a headache, the pictures will.
A decent video recorder or a superzoom camera is probably the best option at present if your budget is $250-500, or perhaps get a decent set of binoculars to use together with your cell phone, as binoscoping works pretty well.
