Light management? (1 Viewer)

It just looks like responsible design to me.
Before about 2014, there was a period where edge-blackening was missing
from important brands, baffling was minimal, and it was assumed multi-coating
would magically lead to saturation.
As the camera folks learned, it's just the beginning.

It feels good they come out and say how they manage light.
Even the choice and arrangement of curvature makes a difference,
once an instrument is a year or two out of the factory.

You have to wonder: if they have re-discovered the magic
of light management, who hasn't yet? (still)
