Anyone seen or tried Drypods - waterproof leg covers? (1 Viewer)

I came across this interesting product recently and wondered if anyone has seen or tried these. They're plastic sleeves that go over your tripod legs to keep water (especially saltwater) out of your tripod legs when using your tripod in water. I'd never actually considered putting my tripod in water until recently, as I've become considerably more aggressive in finding ways to approach birds and get closer. I haven't tried these yet, but I plan to order some. Would love comments from anyone who has tried them. At the least maybe I've found something that others might find useful too.

If the link is a problem, do a web search for "Drypod Waders" and "RJWiley". He's used a photo album site to present the info, and even the text is images and slow to load. Also, the "Birds As Art" web site lists this product on this page - http://www.birdsasart.com/bn261.htm
