Mallard Behaviour??? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if anyone could advise me on some 'duck behaviour' I witnessed today, Mrs duck was bobbing her head up and down whilst making a strange sound and wagging her backside furiously, all the back of her neck and head was also raised like a crest. I thought she might be 'playing up' to her fella, but he was looking at her with no expression at all!!!

Doe's anyone have a clue?? :h?:
