Purple Sandpipers (1 Viewer)

Two Purple Sandpipers: bird (1) right leg, metal ring above red plastic; left leg green plastic; bird (2) has red plastic on left leg. Couldn't read any numbers. I do have a photo but it doesn't add anything. (Bridge camera at 1200mm!)

I thought it would be easy track the recorder down but, not so, everybody is ringing Purple! If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. In the meantime I will continue wading through the "crbirding.org" website.

The birds were in the Redshank roost at the southern end of Saltcoats beach in Scotland
