A two week holiday to Hong Kong and Macau gave a trip list of 120 and 60 new ones.

17th February - Hong Kong International Airport

55) Crested Myna - common everywhere in Hong Kong
 
18th February - A day looking around Kowloon, Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Gardens

56) Red-whiskered Bulbul - everywhere cannot miss
57) Light-vented Bulbul (Chinese Bulbul) - " "
58) Cinereous Tit - common
59) Black-collared Starling - common
60) Black Kite - ubiquitous
61) Large-billed Crow - several seen on the trip
62) Spotted Dove - very common
63) Black-crowned Night Heron -
64) Tree Sparrow - cannot miss
65) Alexandrine Parakeet - I believe is now breeding in Kowloon Park 4 seen
66) Red-billed Blue Magpie - 2 seen at Granville Square
67) Masked Laughingthrush - seen in small groups throughout the trip, this one at Nan Lian Gardens

20th February - Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve

76) Scarlet Minivet - 1 male and 3 females seen
77) Chestnut-flanked White-eye - 1 in a Japanese white-eye group
78) Fork-tailed Sunbird - 1 brilliant male seen
79) Yellow-cheeked Tit - 2
80) Silver-eared Mesia - always seen in mixed flocks
81) Chestnut Bulbul - common here
82) Grey-chinned Minivet - 1 male and female seen

25th February - Mai Po WWF reserve - a fantastic day at this reserve, I have never seen as many birds in one area than at the deep bay area.

151) Citrine Wagtail - 1 winter bird with yellow face great to find this one
