ES v4 scope vs HR? (1 Viewer)

Optically, how does the HR 80 GA ED compare with the ES 80 GA ED v4?
(I have only seen comparisons with v3 on the Forum, not with the most recent ES.)

I'm interested in comparing
  • sharpness, especially at maximum magnification with the SDL v2 zoom eyepiece
  • colour wash if any
  • chromatic aberration
but comments on other aspects are welcome.

Thanks!

There is no optical difference between ES 80 v3 and v4 - the only change was to add dual speed focussing. As a result, comparisons between v3 and the HR models are valid for the v4.

Cheers, Pete
