Can anyone ID this bird. Only seen once near Taif, Saudi Arabia May 2017.

Hi

I’m thinking a female ‘flava’ Yellow Wagtail. Not sure of most likely sub-species there but imagine a range of them move through on passage.

Seems to have a very short tail for a Wagtail?

It's a female Nile Valley Sunbird carrying food for the chicks.

The angle of the bird does fore shorten the tail a bit. Lack of wing bars had me puzzled which is why I wasn’t 100% ... not a region I’ve been to or studied much

Hi All,

Thanks for the help, I was thinking female Nile Valley Sunbird but thought the beak was a bit short but that's difficult to see as it's stuffed full of bug.
