There's a family of Egyptian Geese on a dock basin near where I live in London. We noticed that one of the young ones (in photos) seems to have something wrong with its wings, and got worried.

Is it an injury which will heal on its own? Is there a way to help the bird?

That looks like angel wing, it's a deformity you get sometimes in wildfowl. I don't think it's something that just gets better on its own.

There's been a few threads on here about angel wings - it's generally down to poor diet growing up (white bread/processed food).

What can be done? - Put signs up not to feed birds bread ... appropriate for a park, not sure about there.
