:bounce: I've just returned from walking my local patch I nearly didn't go after very heavy rain last night and showers this morning, I'm glad I decided to go! After spotting a few birds flitting around in bushes I got the bino's on them, amongst the Blue Tits I found a couple of Willow Warblers, after a couple of minutes they flew about 20 yards into more bushes where I spotted the first Redstart I've ever seen on my local patch, it was a male as I was watching it another bird flew past my field of vision and landed in the top of a tree .. a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker!
Warbler I.D.? Amongst the mixed flock of willow warbs and blue tits I had a brief view of a small warbler, It was smaller than the willows and browner with a shorte tail No yellow on it's breast. I was thinKing Chiff Chaff but I didn't see any eye stripe. As I said I only got a very brief view.
