PC slow in shutting down (1 Viewer)

Occasional bird snapper
My Win 7 machine still boots up mega fast (via SSD) and operates as per normal but is very slow in shutting down. Malwarebytes does not find any malware and AVG scan shows all clear. From what I have read it is probably something to do with a program still running but I am not sure which - any one have have any ideas about how to fix?

Hello Roy,
You could d/load and try Glary Utilities, I've used it for years and it's a very reliable bit of software that looks for problems on your PC. I use it with Windows 7 as well.

The basic version 'Glary Utilities 4' is free, I used it for a long time before upgrading to the 'Pro' which has more features. I found both versiona reliable in sorting out issues that arose from time to time. There's a review on CNET here: http://download.cnet.com/Glary-Utilities-Pro/3000-2094_4-10721695.html[/URL]
