Ireland (Galway/Dublin) in September (1 Viewer)

Hi Everyone,

My wife and I are planning a trip to Ireland this September and intend to spend a week in and around Dublin and a one week cycle tour around Conemara, Galway and Mayo. We would spend one day in the village of Roundstone and possibly take a day trip to the Aran islands.

Could anyone recommend areas to bird near Dublin?

Near Roundstone?

What birds could be expected to be seen in the areas?

Can you recommend a good field guide covering this part (or all!) of Ireland? I'd like to pick one up well in advance to familiarize myself wih what to expect.

Thanks in advance for the help!
