Hi all,
I am thinking of getting a 393 gimbal head for my monopod. What i want to know is whether the quick release clamp is either compatible with arca-swiss lens plates or removable to allow fitting of an arca-swiss clamp.
Ta in advance.
Rob.

I use the 393. Here are some close-up photos of the QR mount, top and bottom, so you can see what you might need to do.

The mount is removable from the gimbel bar. There are two hex head screws (can't tell you the size or thread), but the holes are approx. 3 cm apart on center. Removing the screws will let you take the QR slide mount off, but I'm not sure how you would mount the other QR system. At least this might tell you if you can do it. Hope it helps.

If I can help further, just ask.
