Boars damaging Golf courses in the UK....

Slightly older story about issues with Boars (Coleford in Gloucestershire)

http://www.itv.com/news/west/update/2012-10-12/golf-course-owners-call-for-control-of-wild-boars/

It appears a Wild Boar got into a Golf Course, and caused a lot of damage in the middle of July 2014. The outer fence has been considered not secure enough, but the course owners thing differently

Is there such a thing as a Wild Boar proof fence? :smoke:

Sadly the Wild Boar was shot - do not think this is a good thing, and this may mean the start of a Wild Boar hate campagain - hopefully this is not the case.

Wild Boar can be fenced out as easily as in - most boar farms do not suffer escapes (or at any rate fewer than say farms with cows and/or sheep) except when visited by animal rights activists.
