American Coot (1 Viewer)

Good morning all.
Pleasant surprise this morning as we did our morning walk around 'Professor's Lake' in Brampton, Ontario.
There are a few of these American Coots that come to the lake every spring and then return in the fall before they go to wherever they go to in the winter. They hang around for as much as two weeks. It's a nice change from Geese and Mallards all the time.
