Warblers on Vancouver Island (1 Viewer)

These are two warblers in the backyard, not on the same day.

At first I thought the first was a MacGillivary's warbler.

Today I saw this other warbler, that I'm fairly sure is an orange-crowned.

When I was browsing some images of the orange-crowned, I saw that the immatures can have some very similar coloring to a MacGillivary's.

I'm still leaning to a MacG's, but I'm interested if anybody has any opinions?

I still think MacGillivray's on the left. I don't see any eyeline, though it would be faint on a juv. Orange-crowned.

Edit: Looks like leg color distinguishes the two as well.

As noted above, leg color is a very good thing to ogle when looking at warblers, as a bunch have pink legs and another bunch have dark legs, with a few oddballs.

Thanks everyone!

The leg color is a great tip. The left-hand one has pink legs, making it very likely a MacGillivary's.
