Could a tyrannosaur wade or swim after prey? While the two-legged dinosaurs were taller and better able to cross water than some four legged species, there is little evidence to assess how they dealt with hunting or migrating in water.

I saw a presentation on an Appalachiosaurus (related species) that hinted the same 'semi-aquatic' habits several years ago. Interesting.

Theropod dinosaurs (which included Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor) had system of air sacs like birds. So if Tyrannosaurus got into water, it would likely float like a duck.
