Otter in Singapore (1 Viewer)

Otters in Singapore

There were two Otters in the Botanical Gardens, Singapore recently.
I am not sure if they were Smooth-coated or Asian Small-clawed Otters.
They were about the size of a female European Otter.

That is a smooth-coated otter.

I agree with T.O. - Smooth-coated Otters are regular in Singapore and are often seen during the day, particularly around Marina Bay where they can often be seen along the road between the bay gardens and the river. Asian Small-clawed are far more more restricted in distribution in Singapore and seem to be more strictly nocturnal.

Thanks guys, that is what I thought.
Just wanted confirmation.
They were dust bathing by one of the ponds, not what I expected!!
