hi all...a few carvings for you to have a look at...
waxwings in miniature size, It was great to do these birds small, nice to have a play with composition , rather than a single bird..will be doing a lot more this size, I have used a peg, to give you some idea of scale, these were carved out of lime (wood) and painted with acrylic paints...mark

I was just looking for news of Waxwing arrivals in the UK and came across this thread - your carvings really are amazing, they are beautiful.
