Hi Folks, just back from Mallorca after a good birding trip last week but with a couple of oddities which I still can't identify. The "duck" looks like a cross between an egyptian goose and a ruddy shelduck and was at s'albufureta. It has a clear line across its belly with much darker brown beneath this line.

The small bird looks like some sort of fledgling and was on coastal vegetation at Son Real. It has a clear reddish patch at the base of the tail,

Any suggestions on either or both please? thanks Andrew
