Young ind. Adults are all black. Only about ? birds remain in the entire world! A Great one for our database coming soon!

Alan although flattery often ends up with a BF cap, alas, I woudn't know one if it pecked me, nor could I take such a picture, re read the thread!!3:)
 
I didn't know of the bird or it's rarity but it is a nice bird and photo. Reminiscent of Sammy the Silt.
 
Lets hope the future is bright for the Black Stilt, such a beautiful bird deserves a better future.

What ever happened to Sammy the Stilt Andrew !!!!!!
