I just saw the first E. Chipmonk of the year. He was picking up spilled seed under the feeders. The forecast is for heavy snow tonight so I imagin he'll be going back to bed pretty quickly.

Dan, I think I am seeing the first bunches of baby chipmunks here at my house. There are several littler guys, with perfect little coats. Very quiet (as chippies go....) and seem a bit overwhelmed with all the activity under the birdfeeders!

Also watched what I am sure were two young gray squirrels....playing and rolling around. They are small and their little tails are pretty short.....and they just 'acted' like kids. Much hopping and looking and pronking......just about cute!!!)
