I got some birding in this morning before the rain started, which is a precursor to a possible ice storm and then some snow. I was only able to find one new bird.

This morning while running some errands, I picked up a new bird for the year in the parking lot of a shopping center.

70. Ring-billed Gull

Then on my way home I stopped by a farm pond close to where I live and found a Preston County lifer (number 235). It was also the first ever record of the species for the county.
