I was just parking my car in Stocks Road, Preston, Lancs this morning - I looked up to see what bird was making all the noise and sat there was one lone solitary Waxwing !!
Bottom of Stocks Road, where in joins Woodplumpton Road, second from last tree. This road has berry laden Rowan's from start to end - In fact this is the third year in a row we've been visited by Waxwings.
Just one bird seen today, once at 8.30am and then again at 2.45pm.
At one point last year we had flock of 15, fingers crossed we'll them again this year.
