The first ever document Redwing thrush has been in Seward, Ak for the last week. Birders have been flocking in from all over the state to see it. I flew down today from Fairbanks and had great views, and got pictures of the bird. Plus you cant beat visiting with other very friendly and excited birders. I will post pictures in my gallery tomorrow.

As Carol says its a great day to bird,

Redwing went home

It seems the Redwing has gone home. He has not been seen for the last three days. A Few people have been searching for him, but no luck. He was in Seward for about 2 weeks or so.
