Planned Spanish visit M/June 2011

Hello everyone,
My wife and I will be visiting the Llobregat, Garraf, Lleida/Zaragoza, Picos de Europa and Pyrenees areas this year.
We have been avidly researching the Internet to glean what we can of birds and other wildlife. Rosemary is particularly keen on extending her mainly British butterfly experience to these new areas.
If any of you can offer specific advice and site information to help us focus our energies whilst in Spain, we would be very grateful.
Gary,
Inverness

Just in case you intend to use a net or moth trap the following statement is on just about every page on the Iberian Wildlife tours website- possibly a useful resource in itself for you- http://www.iberianwildlife.com/

"Don’t forget that in Spain it is ILLEGAL to use a butterfly net or moth trap without a permit from the relevant authorities, even if you do not take specimens."

The pyrenees are fantastic, have a great time!

Thanks, Ben! Rosemary says she had no plans to trap or net, but she is delighted that a healthy attitude appears to prevail in those regards.
