Bird Seed for Ground Feeders

Has anyone ever found organic millet (or millet grown without pesticides) for ground birds?

We get juncos, sparrows, and towhees, who never go to the bird feeders.

Also, which is best, hulled or unhulled millet?

Thanks.

Hi ya ean and a warm welcome to BirdForum

There are a few different types of millet, but the best one is white proso millet, which is a small round seed. Birds that white proso millet attracts: Juncos, sparrows, towhees, blackbirds, grackles, and doves all of which are groud feeders around here.
