Black Bellied Whistling Duck (1 Viewer)

A Black Bellied Whistling Duck was observed in Howarth Park's Lake Ralphine, Santa Rosa, the first week of August.

The duck's range is mostly in Texas, Mexico and Louisiana, so its appearance in Northern California caused quite a stir among birders.
