Danube Delta Romania - Best Bird Guidebook? (1 Viewer)

We've recently returned from a trip to the Danube Delta in Romania. Whilst we were there we saw guidebooks to Romanian birds on sale in Tulcea but I didn't buy one at the time which I now regret as I cannot find a guide to Romanian birds anywhere back in the UK! Can anyone suggest a good guide to Danube Delta birds? Can you think of a country specific guide or would I be best off buying a generic guide to the whole of Europe? My birding knowledge is pretty weak so I'd like to find a good guidebook as I wasn't able to identify many of the species we saw over there!

Have you looked on NHBS (nhbs.com) ?
They seem to carry a massive range of books.

For a bird guide book in Europe, be it for Britain or the Danube delta, there is only one answer: Collins Bird Guide.

I would agree with dalat. There is no guide book for the Danube Delta (as a matter of fact, there is no good guide book for Romania).

We used the Collins; all you need.
