Latest update from the BTO: State of Nature in Europe report
Data collected by BTO volunteers have been used in a landmark report, published on 20th*May. The report, which describes the state of nature within the EU Member States, contains population and trend information on birds for the first time, drawing the UK component from the Breeding Bird Survey and Bird Atlas 2007-11 among others and highlighting the valuable contribution made by volunteer birdwatchers.
