Freshwater fish ID, North Wales

A few days ago at Bodnant in the Conway valley, looks troutish, but Im a bit weak on fish.

Samandag
Scan right to left, it's slower than scanning left to right and your brain takes in more detail

Brown trout - red spots mid lateral line lower flanks, pale haloes around black spots, lack of spots on tail.
