Buterfly & Insect Houses 6.99

OK, not strictly appropriate for the 'Gardening for Birds' sub-forum, but I guess that anyone who wants to help birds in their garden wants to do the same for insects. These are on offer from Thursday 23rd at Aldi, which seems pretty cheap to me, but I've got no idea what the quality is like...

In my experience they look pretty but don't do anything, I've found very little living in them. You'd be better off with a (free) log pile or compost heap...
