Young common buzzard or honey buzzard? (Romania) (1 Viewer)

Hello,

While walking yesterday in the forest, I found this buzzard nest with a young buzzard inside on the top of a beech tree. It was up around 10 meters above me and I also observed it from a distance while being hidden between the trees. I didn't stay more than 10 minutes around, so no harassment was made here to the young buzzard.

I thought it is a common buzzard, but on another forum some people are saying that it is a honey buzzard due to its "weak" beak. I didn't see honey buzzards in the zone but there is a possibility that they can exist.

I know that the picture is not a too detailed one, and also it is blown out on some parts (especially over its beak) due to the strong sunlight, but can the young buzzard be identified based on this photo?

Thank you very much in advance,
Istvan
