Thinking about a Sony a6400 to use for macro having always used Olympus, can anyone tell me as Olympus can be used for night macro by having live view boost set, does Sony have the same feature so that you can use the view finder at night?

On Sony mirrorless cameras, there are two EVF/LCD modes - one is 'exposure simulation' which will approximate the actual shot view with set aperture and shutter speed, while the other is turning sim off, in which the display will always display maximum gain up and brightness needed to see the scene.
